Angels Obey God's Command, Iblees Rejects Allah's Command

Nasehat Muslim

﴿وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ﴾ 
البقرة: ٣٤ 

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
Surah Al-Baqarah: 34
ثم أمرهم تعالى بالسجود لآدم؛ إكراما له وتعظيما؛ وعبودية لله تعالى، فامتثلوا أمر الله؛ وبادروا كلهم بالسجود، ﴿إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَى﴾ امتنع عن السجود؛ واستكبر عن أمر الله وعلى آدم


Allah ta'ala commanded the angels and the  devil to prostrate to Adam, As a form of homage to adam, A form of worship to Allah subhanahu wata'ala, keep the commandments of God, then the angels immediately prostrate, as for the devil refuses and arrogant from God's command, and arrogant to adam
